Our agreement to operate in a DOI prefix (attributed to Observatoire de Lyon, under the DataCite authority) allows us to create a "reasonable" number of DOIs per year: to avoid potential errors or misuses, we decided to put in place a Dataset creation process. |
MarsSI can save a user-defined data selection, based on a workspace, and attribute a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to it.
A MarsSI dataset will have a dedicated page with an abstract, data listing and exceptionally a web download option that do NOT require a MarsSI account.
